As some of you know, I do not always work conventionally in life...I often will barter my time to reach my goals..even small goals.
I do not have any special skills, or university degrees, but I have an open mind to working hard and trying new things...and of course helping others in need.
Right now, I am without an income, yet I am still working towards my goals...and to do this, means I am working creative jobs to make ends meet.
For example, I am bartering my skills and services and of course my time, by helping a friend out with childcare, in exchange for the use of her backyard shed and some food....but there are many other ways to barter your time in exchange for some items that you many need.
Other ways that might work for you:
- bartering helping out on a farm in exchange for some fresh grown produce.
- helping out cleaning our a garage or warehouse for possible items for yourself or to sell
- helping out a senior with writng out a family history in exchange for some travel money
- catering an event in exchange for some good
- helping out a friend do some repairs or construction in exchange for some supplies
- helping out a friend with car repairs in exchange for some knowledge sharing and use of tools
there are so many ways to help out others, and share knowledge and resources with each other...not all jobs have to involve the use of exchanging money to meet your goals or needs.
Many times I help out friends for getting fed a meal, meets both of our needs.
Just wanted to share these ideas for those that are struggling with have little income and struggling...if you have a desire to work hard, and be creative, there are always ways to work towards your goals.
Blessings
